jQuery Mobile is an open source touch-optimized web framework for smartphones and tablets. It will allow you to design a single web application that will work on all popular smartphone and tablet platforms. PhoneGap is an open source HTML5 app platform that supports 6 platforms. It allows you to author native applications with web technologies and get access to APIs and app stores. I'll show how to build a web app using jQuery Mobile with PhoneGap and share tips and tricks I've learned along the way
