Node.js seems to have taken hold in the last couple of years and provided a new class of web applications to take root. In this talk we will go over what and why people are using Node.js as well as an introduction to get you started using Node.js today.

  I am a student at Tulsa Community College and Oklahoma State University. I have completed 2 programs at Tulsa Technology Center in programming. I work in Support and as Junior Developer at Waterfield Technology's part time. I run a blog http://www.buddylindsey.com over programming at a more beginner level.
