Woody Pewitt (http://blog.pewitt.org/) is a Technical Evangelist at DevExpress (http://www.devexpress.com/) where he helps DevExpress make innovative products that enable developers to deliver solutions faster with superior quality enabling greater returns for their organizations. Prior to joining DevExpress, Woody was an Evangelist at Microsoft in Southern California, driving the awareness and advocating Microsoft development technologies. He is an experienced developer, teacher/trainer and is a part-time instructor at University of California San Diego. Woody has worked on software and system architecture, code, development and infrastructure reviews and analysis of several Fortune 500 companies for scalability, security, performance and standards & practices. He is also an accomplished author, having written Microsoft Official Curriculum and has authored several published magazine articles. Prior to his time in technology Woody was an electronic technician in the United States Navy. Woody and his wife Sam have 2 boys that keep them on the run!
